Twizzlers Launches Limited-Edition Dirty Soda-Flavored Straws
The iconic candy brand Twizzlers is embracing the popular dirty soda phenomenon with a special limited-release product that combines nostalgic candy enjoyment with contemporary beverage trends. This new offering features a unique blend of vanilla, lime, and coconut flavoring designed to enhance the soda-drinking experience.
The confectionery company, which has been delighting consumers since 1929, previously capitalized on the childhood tradition of biting off Twizzler ends to create makeshift straws when they officially launched Twizzlers Straws in 2004. This latest innovation takes that concept further by incorporating the trendy practice of adding flavored syrups to carbonated beverages.
The specialty straws will debut on March 12th in limited quantities, available for purchase through the official Hershey’s online store at $4.49 per package starting at noon Eastern Time. Urban customers can also find the product through Gopuff delivery services in major metropolitan areas.
Physical retail locations will include select Hershey’s Chocolate World stores, with the flagship Pennsylvania location and the Times Square outlet participating in the launch. The Pennsylvania store will feature complementary specialty dirty soda beverages on weekends throughout March, while the New York location will offer the products starting March 31st.
For consumers who may miss this exclusive release, the traditional method of creating edible straws remains available using standard Twizzlers varieties. Simply removing both ends of regular or rainbow-colored Twizzlers allows for the classic DIY straw experience that has entertained candy lovers for generations.
